These were originally created in 5.1 surround, but have been downmixed to stereo for delivery via web browser.
SOUND DESIGN 1
This spot is an example of having to “invent” sounds for things that don’t exist in real life, like web pages unfolding in space and graphics materializing in a void.

AFTER
SOUND DESIGN 2
These had to sound like something without interfering with someone talking. They’re examples of making sounds just to get attention and create interest.

EXAMPLE 2
MUSIC EDITING
This item is a good example of the value of music editing. Musical phrasings were repositioned to support a specific visual element and a critical line of script.

FAKE FOLEY 1
With no production audio except a lav on the actor, every single sound, including traffic, footsteps, hand wipes, and a garbage can, had to be built from stock library effects.
BEFORE
AFTER
FAKE FOLEY 2
The producer decided the natural sound of the boys playing hockey was a little weak, so we again turned to our sound effects library to fatten things up.
BEFORE
AFTER
VOICE MANIPULATION
The producer wanted the little girl to call for her mommy as she runs across the lawn, so he went into the VO booth, whimpered "mommy" and we re-aged and re-gendered it.

AMBIENCE MATCHING
Rain and traffic noise could not be controlled during production, so artificial beds were used to bridge changes, with subtle POV variations to make the flow more natural.

CARTOON EFFECTS
Somehow the effects track for this item was lost during delivery from the network and couldn't be found. Within a couple hours we had it sounding suitably cartoony.
